Ventura Stream Walk Program

This webpage allows users to interactively view Ventura Stream Walk Program data that was collected between September, 2004 to October, 2005. During this period, a field survey was conducted by Channelkeeper staff and volunteers to identify, document, and map ecological impairments along San Antonio Creek near Ojai.

By following the links to the left, you can view project descriptions including data collection methods and the types of data collected. Data has been subdivided by impairment type. You may view maps of data by choosing any of the impairment types listed to the left. When you see a symbol like this: click on it to view a photograph taken at the marked location.

Also included on this CD is the actual Geographic Information System (GIS) data used to make these maps. This data is included in ESRI shapefile format. All data is free to the public. It is Channelkeeper's hope that this data will be used for educational purposes and to facilitate watershed planning and restoration efforts that will improve ecological function of the watershed.
