Site 12: Highway 150
This site is located in the Ventura River at the Highway 150 bridge. The
Ventura River channel at this site is approximately 100 yards in length.
A fifty-yard hike as well as climbing down steep rip rap is required to
access the site. The streambed is covered with rocks for flood control.
The river is moderately filled with vegetation. Swallow nests exist underneath
the 150 bridge. This site is often dry for much of the year.
