Site 14: North Fork Matilija

This site is located along the North Fork of Matilija Creek, at a Ventura County flood gauging station. Access is either down the bank or via the VCFC ladder. Water samples can be pulled form the Hwy 33 bridge in high flow conditions. The creek bed is relatively natural with native vegetation. This stretch of creek is often visited by sunbathers and kids.
